Steve began his career at age 22 at Hambrecht and Quist, moving up the ladder through several mergers and acquisitions to VP of Purchasing at JP Morgan/Chase. After 18 years of service, he started fiXit, a home maintenance service focused originally on real estate transactions. The company grew by word of mouth to also include property managers, individual clients, and facilities management for a 24 hour animal hospital in San Francisco.
Steve has been an avid cyclist throughout his life. Living in Santa Cruz, San Francisco and now San Anselmo where he has enjoyed both road and mountain biking and racing. He is a founder of Zeitgeist Racing, a cycling club with members internationally. He was a co-founder of the Branson Mountain Bike Team and coached the team for 5 years. He is now a proud co-owner of 3 Ring Cycles and brings his superior customer service and attention to detail to the shop. Come into the shop and meet him!
Brad started his cycling adventure during high school in Mill Valley, California at Mill Valley Cycle assembling bikes after school and on weekends. Growing up during the birth of mountain biking he cut his teeth racing mountain bikes at local races like the Stumpjumper in Santa Rosa and west coast NORBA races as a team Tam member.
After college he managed several local bike shops before finally landing a job as a race mechanic for the Volvo/Cannondale professional mountain bike race team. After traveling the world for several seasons he settled down as a warranty manager for White Industires in Novato, California. In 1997 he secured a job at Bell Sports working for their bike department in San Jose, California. In 1999 he moved to Minnesota with his wife where they both worked for Quality Bicycle Products – a wholesale bike distributor. Then in 2004 he and his wife set out on their own and started 3 Ring Cycles. In 2014 they sold 3 Ring Cycles to Tom and Steve and continues to ply his trade.
